Personal Trail

Stop in the tracks you're following
as you reach a fork in the road
every foot you've placed on this path
Is reflected in the muddy abode
there are only two options at this point
you can go either left or right
and though you're really lost right now
you can find yourself in the light
some people talk about fairy-tales
with fairies and dragons and such
when, in reality we live in the forest
near a path that's hardly been touched
you know its path less traveled by
but how can you know this is true?
because how can others travel
       on a path made only
                     for you
