Perseverance
Though life has many trials and its pleasures may be few,
If you have perseverance, it will see you through.
Some troubles destroy the body, others stress the mind,
But if you search within yourself perseverance you will find.
Someday life will be over, and peace and joy by you be found,
And because you didn't falter and your perseverance did abound
You will live eternally on much higher ground
