Perry the Pretty Prissy Persnickety Octopoose

Perry the pretty prissy persnickety octopoose
always wanted to be a passenger train’s caboose
But you have to live in the sea, some said
The look he gave them could strike me dead

you are an octopus, someone said, kind of rude.
This octopoose bit him as if he were plankton food
I kept my mouth shut, as well I knew I could and should
Revenge from a persnickety octopoose is never good
