PERPETUAL

PERPETUAL Love is transient, some believe It has a life, and then it’s over Yet for the few, it’s sustainable Just getting by is never enough Lasting when things get tough Endless love is still attainable No black hole but a supernova To celebrate when others grieve Love is not fantasy, but actual Needing much regular attention The basis is a permanent affinity Watering well what was planted Keep a straight stem, not slanted Never to be taken for granted By stretching out far to infinity Sharing pleasure is the intention Always striving to be perpetual

wonderful and wise words, Howard. I agree...love is not a fantasy and requires perpetual attention. I enjoyed the flower/planting metaphor. Love can be perpetual but it requires attention...insightful words, indeed. Have a great evening, Sara
