Thanks Jan, I see some parts of the amazon rain forest are ablaze and the government there saying they haven't the funds or the resources to fight it. Tom

Congrats on your win, Tom. The wildfires out west are scary. I also heard on the news last night that the Amazon rain forest is having it's worst year for wildfires as well.

Thanks John, I often wonder is it a cycle of events that are going to happen every thousand years or so or is it caused by man. I hadn't heard about the Amazon, I'll have to check it out. Tom.

Thank you Ilene, I was in Yosemite a few years ago and saw some of the devastation that these wildfires cause. So tragic for those that lose everything. Tom

Thanks Wendy, Its so tragic to see, everything people own gone up in flames, I read somewhere that eucalyptus trees( not native to California ) catch fire easily, probably the sap they contain. Tom.
