Period
Playtime at school everyone knows is called a play period.
Every time I do something bad my mum says “it’s only a period”.
Relaxation time between sports is my best rest period.
I use full stops at sentence ends, I’ve learnt that’s also a period.
Oh I didn’t realise the importance of each period!
Do you think it will be long before I’m allowed a lengthy period?
