Periapsis II
it's like you're the earth, and I'm the moon,
I can't keep myself from revolving around you,
your orbital pull I can't quite resist
so I'll bide my time till periapsis
but on this periodic orbital trip,
my time with you I'll surely miss,
although I know that you wont stay,
our distance grows each passing day
our push and pull guide manifolds
in complex planes our boundaries wane
trajectories chaotically change
but still momentum stays the same,
perhaps this apoapsis wont
leave me choked in the throat,
i just hope your delta V,
wont tenderly escape from me,
because this two body problem,
isn't as simple as it would seem,
when we’re circling stars
in this big, wide, galaxy
