Listen to poem:

Perfect World

Perfect World
David J Walker

I close my eyes and become so
Perfectly still that hungry birds
Forget I am there
I am invisible
Even to the January air
Hearing
            Seeing
                        Feeling
Believing that as long as I
Remain
            Quiet
Nothing is wrong in a perfect
World that cannot
See me as anything that
Doesn’t belong

Sadly beautiful David. Yet the peacefulness is unmistakable.

Thank you, FJ. That sort of peace seems elusive, doesn't it?
