Perfect

I'm never lost
I'm always happy
I'm skipping smiling running in the sunshine
my heart is shining
my teeth are gleaming
my stomach is full and I'm not really thirsty

My heart is bursting
I can't wait to see you
I have so many things to say
and its been too long
My family is happy
everyone has money
no one is frightened, or sad, or sick.

My dog is a monster, a bad ass, a protector
he keeps us running
pack that we are
His fur is gleaming,
his teeth are sharp
but that smile in his face says it all

Lets have some lemonde
while are feet are in the water
the creek is perfect today
just green and cool
Lets think about dinner
maybe steak maybe ice cream
lets lay on our towels and be little girls.

Day brightener. I grew up in a row home with four brothers in a three bedroom home. We were far richer than we knew. I liked this. Vince

You've done a great job of capturing the thoughts and feelings of childhood, a heart free from worry, free to enjoy life's simple pleasures. Thanks for sharing. Amy
