Perception
You can be perceived in so many lights,
In others eyes all your wrongs are rights,
I’ve been seen vulnerable, strong, a tramp, even unstable,
Realise that’s not me just your perception on a label,
Remember the old saying don’t judge a book by it cover,
As in my life I’m also someone’s son, brother and lover.
Its time we all looked at ourselves not others just take a look,
Or are you afraid that about yourself you may have been mistook,
In life we are judged by our outside never the inside,
If we really looked we’d see the outside has often lied.
The inside is what makes us the who we are,
So realise sometimes our judgements can go to far.
