People's Opinions

Left in a corner
Hid in a shell
Misunderstood,
And not seen for myself

They disregard me
And have little trust
How they perceive me
Is filled with disgust

Based illusion
And centered in hate
No appreciation
Of how I've been helping of late

When I'm trying
They take it as fake
And when I give up
A big fuss, they do make

I can't disguise it
How awful I feel
I put on a show
But I need something real

Feeling so hopeless I no know
What I do
End up dejected
And I am real blue

I won't control it
What they think
I'll be dissappointed
Won't let myself sink

It doesn't matter
What they will say
Thinking is futile
Actions do stay

So in the end, most perceptions are false
And they can play a very negative role
What's most important is what you yourself think
Don't let fear matter
Don't let yourself shrink
