People Travel Past us in Planes

sky noises alert me to people way up
ten thousand feet, whom I doubt can see my pup
I sit in my forest, writing this little poem
most grateful to God that I have a nice home.

Do my dogs realize that people just flew by?
Neither of them cares to look up into the sky.
Same kind of noise but a much smaller plane.
How do they know how to stay in their lane?
