People Need To Know
Don't turn the switch on,
unless you know what is being transmitted to you
on carrier waves
Hidden in subliminal beams
are desirable images of your wildest dreams
But will getting all that you could ever want
help your spiritual learning to grow?
When reality clashes with your fantasy,
will you let your carnal urges go?
Or will you continue to ignorantly stumble,
falling into someone else's designed program,
living your life in a fog,
marked as one of the children of the damned
You need to know,
then let other people know also
People need to know,
force the puppet masters to let the strings go
Or do you prefer to be yanked around
like an empty-headed Pinocchio?
But here's something you need to know:
Get off your knees and elbows,
stop praying to your wooden, wallet-sized idol
Don't let money
turn you into a brainwashed 'ho
Let your mind get cleansed
like freshly fallen virgin snow
Return your heart to the Creator ...
this is what people need to know
