Pendulum 1

Round and round
The spherical movement
Of our spheres
Through the course of our itinerary
Coming acroos our old
Manifesting as new
Living it through it thoroughly
Changed forms, primordial kernels
Develops and grows in manifold
Round and round
Like a rolling stone
We gather not a moss
Ever futile, our unending journey
So far so downwards
Progress? Yes! In illusion and vanity
Science and technology
Dehumanizers that take us far
From the primordial purpose
Round and round
Our admiration vanity
Fans into burning consuming flame
In fashion and surreal beauty
Dragging us far beyond Eve’s age
Still wildly we revel
Digging deep in down drain
Burying our world in stark dark
Beyond the light of days
