PELE
PELE
Oh
Yes!
I am Pele
Was born poor
But to be great
Dad played ball
I’d loved to do it better
Even if the flower won’t bloom
I’ll cherish what I love to do
Do it in a better way, thrive!
Yea!! To a better me to reckon
Where is the ball, balloon rolls
Where is the field? The road to greatness
Even if I turn roads and path to soccer pitches
All I want is to be watched on world-wide pitch
Oh the pain my mama hate to watch
Oh the groan my dad wanted it better
Would work out of friends who wanna be doctors
All because I have no money but skills for soccer
Now fame came, they loved me as legend!
Would they love to know the pain of the huddles
I dribble with ease, was my calling to entertain
Would they want to know the trees and apples?
That I set as target players, I had targeted goals
Set! was it my focus, never wanted to be down
Clear was my mission; to make all others smile
To the length of my days, let Brazil be known
To the mark of my calling, legacy for whole world
I passion through, moulded my beginning
Even if I fight daily, to the end still waiting
For the trophy to my Lord, welcome home Legend
My life was spent, my anthers fully blown for all
To spread, yielded seed of legacy to all hearts for soccer
Rest on Legend! Pele; GOAT of all times
