Pearl Harbor

We All Know Pearl Harbor And the Devastation There. The Men and Women That We Lost, Was Very Hard to Bear. We Were Taken by Surprise, So Many Things Went Wrong. But the Memories Will Live, Even Though It's Been So Long. There Are Those That Did Survive, To Live Another Day, To Wonder How it Happened, A Price They Have to Pay. Even Though Time Has Passed, The Memory Stands Clear. Even Time Cannot Erase, The Loss That Was So Dear. That's Why We Are America, We'll Defend it to the Death And Say We Shall Be Free!, With Our Dying Breath.

Connie, this is just one more great poem you have written. I thoroughly enjoy these tributes... I wrote one for a contest... I took an entirely different direction than other entries... You might read "Red Sun" and give me your comment.... Jake
