Pearl

Where are you my dear? Conflicting thoughts engaged As the ocean's spiral flows My heart melts From the heats of your long My carelessness was a player Thought my carefulness fully engaged I feel the breeze as violent blows Pelt from the sun rays constant pelts Depressed, my conscience reward of a wrong Lost now, so much I care Upon myself, I am enraged Mocked by the ocean's deceptive shows No other choice, fastened I my life-jacket belts My guilt intoxicates me so strong For my pearl, this pain I must bear Without you, an incomplete pair. 03/14/2013

GOODNESS , a nice warm welcome to the soup. My name is Linda, many poets on the soup call me PD for fun. I'm stopping by to invite you to one of my latest contest... called ---> "Only for the New Poets of 2013--the first poem you posted on the soup..." he he he Yes it has a long title. But, I want to give the new poets on the soup the enjoyment and challenges we offer in our contest. If you like please consider my contest.
