Peach Fields

When peach fields become lavender, birds sing love melodies Last year's nests are made over, plowed fields are ready to plant Will you think of me in my spring dress giving you a hug

Sara, A haunting magnum opus hovers elegantly over the page. I can imbibe the invigorating scene and the sentiment which underpins it. Howard

Oh my, this is one of the most beautiful sijo poems I've read so far.. So magically done, dear Sara! Your wordsmithery feels so elegant and effortless here, flowing with a lovely rhythm and mystical fragrance.. "When peach fields become lavender, birds sing love melodies" Ahh, I really like that opening.. So wonderful! "Will you think of me in my spring dress ready to hug you" There's a soulful & heartfelt essence in these lines.. So touching and evocative. I really loved reading this, a FAV :)
