Peacefully We Dream
I cannot see your eyes
They are covered in sleep
I gaze at you softly
Each thought flowing deep
I know of their color
As clear as the sea
With more love and charm
Shared only with me
Such tenderness and depth
Reflections of candles glow
More than anyone else on earth
Will ever know
I touch your silken skin
I caress this love I've found
In the sweet breath I hear
From your deepest sigh
Is your only sound
I lay back and wonder
Who sent you to me
Oh why should I wonder
I believe I will join you
As you sleep peacefully
Deep within your dreams
