Peaceful Woods

These woods are lovely-
An island of peace and tranquil delight.
Over the hill, a highway rushes by…
And people hurry, hurry- both day and night.

A quiet place
Where cares can fall away,
Where one can be refreshed and at peace...
A place where the toils and cares of life can be forgotten
In a world where troubles never cease.

I love this one, Betty-it reminds me of my childhood days in NH. I played in the woods all the time!

How relatable this is. Nothing beats those quiet spots that nature finds us, and so many people never stop to enjoy it.
