Peaceful Lights

You light up the night as you shine
So bright down on me. Showing
The way through my roughest
And darkest sea, leading me
Safely to Peace and Serenity.
On the weakest of my days,
When I wanted nothing more
For my sorrow to end.
You’d guide my heart and ease
My pain as your light brings
Warmth to my life without a soul.
Keep on shinning your light
So I can see through those dark nights.
I won’t be so lonely, soon I will let my
Hurt run away, set me free
And vanish in the night,
Out to those dark seas.
