Peaceful Intentions
Peace is a word
that’s treated so vaguely
People step on peace
while some use it to win
others use it to sin
Peace is in war
although why is that
Peace mixed with war
quite unimaginable in fact
Some in the past used peace
to help change
People then listened
peacefully restrained
As peace changed the country
peace was enlightened
Never to be betrayed
Never to be taken lightly
On the contrary
listen to those who strive for peace
Always remembering to keep your
own views within reach
If you feel the urge
let your peace out when it is needed
Never forgetting what peace means
inside you
As words said today
chaotic and of disarray
Tomorrow peace can change it
possibly defeating it
Teaching those who know
when to repeat it
as well as peace being a possible
bereavement
