Peace Is In Isolation

Present condition
Shows no act of contrition
When the population
Facing much desolation
Chooses condemnation
Provoking alienation
Clouding ways of ramification
That could lead to unification
That in making such selection
We receive no protection
Deaf to the heavens revelation
And peace remains in isolation.

well done Caroline,, very well done. Could be put to music or even rap ..but good positive rap. Is there such a thing? If not you could start it with this piece for sure. Or a modern folk song. Cool

Beautifully written. Great message and effective use of monorhyme. Many times poems such as these read as being forced to fit the pattern - not this one. It flows beautifully and stays on topic in a powerful way. Well done. Joe
