Peace Begins To Flow

Like the ripples that emerge
From still waters as they flow
Go the cycles of a lifetime
Some of them high, some low.

Looking in the quiet spaces
Of our mind for the calm
That comes but for a moment
And gives a soothing balm.

To heal the turmoil of a soul
As it ripples thru highs and lows
In the still waters of thought
As the peace begins to flow.
