Peace

Time is drawing near
I have some fear
All roads must at some point end
What lays around the bend
I can see tomorrow lose it's way
Sometimes just for a day
Heart's were meant to heal
Asleep at the wheel
Can't see whats ahead
A moment of dread
Empty hearts never win
It's a sin
But i can only go on
This way for so long
Before I lose my way
At the end of the day
I want to find
Peace of mind
Lost memories going to my head
Can see the road ahead
Filled with so much pain and grief
Can't find any relief
Living in the past
Living too fast
Still I must try
 Not to cry
But carry on to tomorrow
Live beyond my sorrow
Try to get over the ridge
,Burn that bridge
Life can push you far
Following some distant star
Keep moving forward
Keep moving.toward
That distant horizon calls
Love falls
Driving my car
Can't go to far
Pushing the limits to see
Wanting to be free
Only want to find
What I left behind
Lost all I had
Times were so bad
But I know
Anywhere I go
Memories still find me
There all I can see
Don't let it show
I just don't know
I still try
I still cry
But I push on ahead
I'm here instead.
Looking for something I can't see
Just something I feel
Hearts never heal
Lost in my mind
Trying to find
Some peace of mind
