PBS and NPR

Entertainment on TV Or radio depends On funding from the government Or ads for private ends. Both PBS and NPR,* With Public in each name, Provide such joy for tuners-in, With years of much acclaim. From children’s shows to orchestras To journalists with news, The varied offerings present A host of different views. Yet now an order has been signed - I’ll let you guess by whom - To end all public funding, As these stations meet their doom. To stop “woke propaganda” By the “monsters” on the “left,” This, instead, will damage children And leave listeners bereft. The only monster I can see Is one who thinks he’s king And every day I wonder What new horror he will bring. *Public Broadcasting Service and National Public Radio

Well, perhaps it's time to admit that NPR and PBS (and VOA) are not at all what they used to be, i.e., staunch allies of the free world and beacons of hope for those suffering oppression. I, for one, stopped listening to them over 10 years ago. I imagine that if a prominent Democrat had cut their funding, you might go along with it...

A very a pro pos piece, Ilene. PBS is one of my favorite outlets. I can't imagine it would ever disappear, even with all DT is trying to disrupt and destroy. Surely the "public" has more sense than to let that happen.

how disgusting he seeks to control every aspect of people's lives and walk over anyone who gets in his way - the only thing on tv will be him on Trum TV the truth channel! ! he not only thinks he's king but now Pope - he needs a check up from the neck up and then locking up for good! hugs Jan xx

Oh no, he's out of control for sure. Why can't they leave well alone. Tom
