Pay It Forward
Have you seen her
the girl down the street
working very hard
just to make ends meet
Have you seen him
that very young dad
walking to work
but never getting mad
Hours on end
they struggle and tow
determined in their mind
another day to go
One day an angel
whispered their name
and then and there
things began to change
Life made them wiser
but left their kind heart
allowing them to realize
how to do their part
Today they are happy
with enough to go around
paying it forward
helping others that are down
