Paulette
Gliding through the cement sidewalks she walks,
leather pants, black shirt, combat boots,
trench coat, beige lipstick, sunglasses she talks
gliding through the cement sidewalks she walks,
hands reach to touch the glow of her bright stock
fashion fell dead in her presence her roots
gliding through the cement sidewalks she walks,
and nobody ever appeared so cute
