Patience For a Lifetime

I've spent a whole day with you
But the second you leave it
becomes hard to breathe. We
bring out the best in each
other, sharing the umbrella to
survive the storm together.
Some people have boyfriends,
some have lovers, but I have
A best friend better than all the
others. You help me feel. You
help me to believe that a little
big thing called love can
actually be real. You care about
me more than anybody I've
known. No wonder why when
you leave I'm so alone.
Distance can hurt but they say
time heals. I beg to differ sir
because nobody understands
how this feels. I'm becoming
numb to the core, can I even
stand to wait anymore?
"Love is patient"
"Love is kind"
I will wait for you as long as
you wander my mind.

My dearest Jasmin, this " little big thing called love" is everything, for love is from God and God is love! St. John epist. 1, chapter 4. verses 7 and 16! Your poem is so beautiful and tender as your heart is! May you find the best of men to share your life with you! You deserve it! Thank you for visiting!
