Hidden in Winter
Under the earth's cold cover
Spring patiently waits

A life as if still breath it birth Covered in a winter chill hibernation Heart beat such few times it slow Creation, creature of some form it lives Breathing, patience it appears to be dead But beneath captures defying soul Or what should you call that to which not human It still carries a spirit to which you breathe
