Pathological Lies For Power

pathological liars seem to lie for no clear benefit or reason,
but I think they do it because a fear inside needs easing 
the fear of feeling powerless that never ever leaves them 
the antidote "lies empower" brings release from the unceasing

spawning from humiliation which they had no control of, 
or lonely isolation when they've nobody to hold on,
influence is found through lies when vulnerable and open,
misdirection is their choosing and they own the moment 

(but fearing being powerless
is something that a coward does)

delusional power because you are weakness

Nick Trim July 28, 2021 at 12:09 AM yeah the first two lines of the second stanza are meant as childhood experience. taught young "never again", becoming self protective to the point any help they need is self selected and if/when it's found they just reject it. protecting themselves from help

Cheers...ab Nick Trim July 28, 2021 at 12:18 AM Thank you Anselmo, fear creates a blocking, they learn how to be detached or unaware, silly thing is fear is an idea founded by expectation and the only place it exists is inside someones head, where you'd think expectations were plural lol
