The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Pastrami On Rye

Went to a deli
And piled way up high
Was the sandwich I ordered –
Pastrami on rye.

I slathered on mustard
And savored each bite
Along with a pickle,
The sour just right.

If you’re feeling hungry
I’d urge you to try
(In a real New York deli)
Pastrami on rye.

There's nothing like a great pastrami sandwich with a great sour pickle! And it's even greater if from a Jewish deli!!! Another favorite of mine is a Reuben (corned beef with sauerkraut, etc.) Your poem, by-the-way, is just as great, Ilene. Thanks for posting it, and thanks for stopping by to read mine doggie humor. / M
