Pastel Reflections

Pastels…

I wake in the mourn
The whole world lay out before me

Oh what to do
How bout share smiles, they are free to squander

I go through my day
Avoiding casters of grey anointing
Try that they may
I relinquish them silver linings

What else shall impede me today
Always something despite my dismay

Oh it’s ok, just
Premeditated arbitrary garbage
I’ll keep the negativity at bay
halt it before I’m a comrade of dread like they want it

I’m almost halfway, and nobody’s bogged me down yet
Positivity initiated, generated and sustained
Hey, yeah, yay!
This keeps me open to the harmonizing flow I want chiming

Eve’s cadence picks up
Nature’s beauty surrounding
Don’t blink or you’ll miss

I look to the Sun
Rays of adulation which warm me
Let’s end it this way the shrill of the lark my alarm be

Pastels…

A most impressive piece that has me smiling along with you. Humans are hard wired with a negativity bias so in order to stay on the positive side we must do so with intentionality.
