Past the Panes of Ice

Astonished sadness lies within her eyes, 
who will see past the panes of ice, 
a gasp frozen before her lips, 
her shoulders cold and shake of this,
the lies, the lies, she tries to hide,
but sadness lies so clearly in those eyes
