Past So Fast

They say 1 step at a time
I have taken a billion steps a zillion times
Omg! this does not stop
I wait and wait until the last

What on earth can make this right?
I have prayed day and night
I seek and learn different things
But nothing changes, same songs I sing

I walk a mile and try to smile 
Thinking for us to reconcile
Thought feeling worst and bad 
All together makes me mad

Eat the meat, get a sound sleep
Life goes on! We have to upkeep 
Wonder and ponder on thy past
On how life changed so damn fast!
