The past the present and future
In that split of a instant
No time to plan ahead or consider
Time is of the essence
Thought we had it all figured out
Thinking a little more
Decided not quite so fast I'm afraid
Stranger than ever before
We had difficulty understanding
This fact or abnormality
But we're still alive and breathing
