Past

she smiles
she laughs
on her wrists are three red scars
reminders of the past
she smiles
she laughs
inside she's cold
her past has turned her this way
a past of pain
a past of abuse
five years have past now
and she is now cold in the ground
the memories where too much
one dark and lonely night
she found the courage
to take her own life
a note was all she left to this cruel world
with one word "sorry"
