Do you see the future
If you free your past ?
Are memories just tokens
Of things that don't last?
It may be a loved one
Or something we lose
That's taking you back
To a time that you choose
About a mistake
Or just that decision
That keeps you awake
While you run from your visions
But remember the pas
Needs a future to find
By the time it comes clearer
You'll have moved on in time
