Passing Time
Circling the block
When you've already gone around
Smoking the cigarette
When your throat is still sore
Going back for the item
That was never really forgot
Taking the shortcut
When you don't know the way
Spending the money
That you know you don't have
Finding the nowhere
Just so no one will hear
Asking questions
When the answers are there
Writing the poems
That never need to be read
