Passage
Turning from the pathway
Trying to find a new way
Unaware of where it is I am going
Knowing
On the path of life you are never sure
Is love the cure
Is there a love that is pure
Today I mend any wounds I have in my heart
At some point one has to stand apart
Go his own way
So starts a new day
Standing straight
Such is fate
Towards tomorrow I head
Gathering of knowledge that I have been fed
Invisible... for all are blind
Living life in rewind
Walking towards yesterday
Is not the way
In your heart, hope must stay
Life has turned my hair gray
Lost, weary where is my home
Hearts destined to roam
The weight of the world on your shoulders
Feels like boulders
Are you a saint
I ain't
Afraid to feel
Will the heart ever heal
No
Not till I grow
Past yesterday
Must find my way
Beyond the pain
Against the grain
Standing forever in the rain
Where do I go
To grow
Inside the soul
Is the goal
Pull the mask from which your hiding behind
Open your mind
I see you
To yourself are you true
In my mind are the voices
Always leaving me to suffer, for all my choices
Forever telling me who I ain't
Still not the saint
Do not faint
Tomorrow I cannot see
All that may be
Clouds cover the future
So I nurture
Hope
Helps me to cope
Rising from a bended knee
My heart stays free
Avoiding the powers that be
In the mirror I carefully look
Shows the path I took
I Wonder, who am I
Will I ever reach the sky
Not if I refuse to even try
