Pass This Way

While winking when you pass this way
Consider the vast great expanse of time
You seem to hardly ever stay
So much good we might try to find
There's truly much more to say
Towards many you do act so kind
It is clear in the light of day
If you could stop and not decline
But then you always turn away
Are you really a friend of mine

You have masterfully expressed your question of the last line perfectly in couplets - quandary in words and form. I think we all have friends like this who profess friendship but speak a different message with their actions. Congratulations on your win! High fives and kudos!

Sam, it's these little bits of nuance that shroud our everyday lives. Your diligent, right minded, actions shine the light of true friendship. Thank you.
