Pass Me the Patience
Please pass the patience,
and a little tolerance please,
to go with this big bowl of b.s.
that you have prepared for me.
Is that betrayal I smell
smothered in half baked lies?
Served with steamy hot secrets
and souped up alibis?
And of course, you've got plenty
of cheesy charm laid on thick.
Buttered up manipulations
give it just the right kick.
You even brought desert...
Self righteous apple pie!
And fact free accusations
are a favorite of mine.
You've really gone all out
But Im afraid I must refrain.
Ive got a craving for the truth
and I prefer to have it plain.
But I'll keep this icy glass
And fill it with a nice cold beer.
Here's to your guilty grub.
But I'm on a "fool fast". Cheers!
