Parting Shots
a couple......from my younger daze
Deep in the Ice House
On Loop Twenty Four South
He motions.........
To fill....his shot glass
Meanwhile at the Eagle's Nest
On old Sixty Nine west
She's shooting...........
Tequila down fast
They're getting....Their parting shots in
They said it was over, but they won't let it end
Round after round.......Nobody wins
They're getting..... their parting shots in
He tells an old friend
Who happened to drop in
She is the devil
In disguise....
She tells a stranger
That he tried to blame her
But she says....
The truth is...he lied
They're getting their parting shots in.......
