Parting
we were at the end of a rainbow
a sadness in our eyes
few words were being spoken
so hard to say goodbye
Quietly our love had disappeared
until nothing did we share
a lifetime of loving up and gone
vanished in thin air
While our hearts silently cried
we packed our memories
suitcase full of yesterdays
but no tomorrows for you and I
