Part of Me Likes the Incredible Hulk
Part of Me Likes the Incredible Hulk
By Elton Camp
David Banner, folks sure better not threat
He’ll become the hulk and they’ll regret
The hulk, his rage expresses - no constraint
A thing that his human side certainly can’t
The two are opposite sides of the same plank
One meek and mild, the other strong and rank
Whatever the hulk does, David can deny
Such violence he would never even try
But he has such a convenient alter ego
Who’s along wherever David may go
Like Dr. Jekyll and his twin, Mister Hyde,
There’s an entirely different person inside
At times, I’d like to have the hulk with me
On some people, I’d gladly set him free
He could shove and toss them all around
With a loud sound, they’d hit the ground
When they’ve been punished just enough,
Hulk becomes me who isn’t that tough
Thus, “Arrrrrg!” is a sound I like to hear
Because it puts the wicked ones in fear
