PARLIAMENT A gathering of owls so wise Can you see it in their eyes Open wide as if in surprise With collective intelligence And mindset convergence Wisdom is so easily attributed And no sign of being inhibited As knowledge is contributed To add collective experience Discovery through prurience A chance to share information Decisions based on summation No evidence of any frustration Maybe huddled to keep warm Into a modest group they form Such a parliament is a collective Not a government, nor elective Combining wisdom, is effective Consider their hunting choices Plans agreed among the voices
