Parents For Today

Why don’t you just appreciate who I am and what I try to do… All I ever wanted is to be a good wife and mother too… Yet sometimes I feel torn by the past and the present… Totally accepting that you are my rock while my first family isn’t… I know I can’t live in both places at the same time you see… But without you and them where I would I truly be… And though the quiet is a blessing for now… God will show us in hardtimes what we’re really missing somehow… The fact that although we’re their Mother and Father for today… Soon very soon they will be but memories of yesterday.. So let us be the parents while we can… And help each to together stand.
