My heart sings when I see you smile Sees promise when you concur each trial Fills with hope at each accomplishment Breaks when I see your personal torment I give thanks to the father I can turn to I can pray for strength to get you through I'm blessed to be mother to a child of god Through trials try to hold fast to the Iron rod Parenthood brings happiness as well as pain Hope for recovery when they drive you insane When all is said and done you can still smile As they become parents & begin there own trial They will know the pain as well as the joy You'll once again pray for each girl and boy Your children now can understand how you feel As they now are the ones trying to deal!!
