Notes About The Poem

Something is always
slipping past the frame~
a thought half-formed,
a gesture almost tender,
a truth that flickers
just beyond the reach
of naming.

We live inside
these open parentheses,
carrying the beauty
of what never quite
arrives.

I love this Sara... I love the way you apply the idea of the unspoken (or silent thoughts) to life and how each of us lives within it. Great metaphor!... It wasn't until I was in my early 20's I learned that these were not called brackets. Brackets for Maths and Perentheses for English. We never stop learning :-D .. adding to faves
