Paranoid

Trapped as society would have it
Cornered from three angles.
I suspect my life is in constant danger

I turn where there is complications onto a road of twisted emotions.
Which leads in only one direction strait to the city of agony.

Where I am forced to evaluate all aspects of the situation.
Continuing my great escape from this huge jungle of hate.

In search of freedom within I grow hostile
Impatient as my condition worsens.

Theologically I’ve been captured by surprise,
Lured by temptation into a world of imagination
Hidden from reality where assumption rules.
This make-believe state of mind has got me paranoid.
